What does this cost my company?
Nothing. There is no fee from DataTrove Partners. If a referral leads to a closed partnership, the buyer program pays us a referral fee. You keep whatever commercial terms you negotiate with them.
How do you get paid?
We disclose this up front: we are an independent referral partner. When a deal closes through our introduction, the buyer program pays us a referral fee. That fee does not come out of your pocket.
Do you handle, store, or clean our data?
No. We never receive or process your datasets. Fit checks are conversational. Diligence, de-identification, cleanup, and contracts are handled directly between you and the buyer program.
What about privacy and legal rights?
Only lawful, properly consented, and appropriately de-identified or otherwise eligible data should be considered. We do not advise on legal compliance; the buyer and your counsel handle that. If you cannot lawfully license the data, we will not pursue a referral.
Are you affiliated with any AI lab or data marketplace?
No. DataTrove Partners is independent. We are not an official partner, agent, or representative of any AI lab, marketplace, or data-partnership program. Referrals are introductions only; acceptance is always at the buyer's discretion.
What if we're winding down or already closed?
That can still be a fit. Some programs evaluate datasets from companies that are active, winding down, or closed—provided rights, privacy, and commercial terms allow.
